Tournament Goss!

A big WELL DONE to our fantastic juniors who competed in the recent Caloundra Tournament.  It was a weekend of great tennis, lots of fun and giggles, not to mention the unexpected extended stay!!!

 The sunny coast tournaments always prove to provide harder competition for the kids, so all round they all did a fantastic job!

 A special mention to a few of our players who made it into semi-finals and finals! 

Edmond Saffuri- reached semi-finals.  Placed 4^th overall.

The Chew gals! Janae & Tamie- doubles final.  Placed 2^nd overall.  Well done girls!

 Our energetic young boys set the pace, with Jay Ha, Jarod Sargeant and Mitch Taylor all setting the bar high with great tennis!  Dylan Wallace, Kaleb Shennan, Mikey Hawthorn and Michael Twitt put in the hard yards too! 

 A big congratulations to Victoria Merrick on her debut tournament- she displayed great sportsmanship and effort at her first Caloundra tournament.

Finally, Kimmy & Grace- who always display terrific sportsmanship and attitude, played well and helped Luke to keep order within the ranks (with all the hypo boys surrounding them!)

Not even the flooded mighty Bruce Highway dampened their weekend.  An extra night on the sunny coast keeping them all enthused and excited for the many tennis adventures ahead!

Caloundra Junior Development Series Tournament

Ace Tennis are kicking off the tennis tournament year by travelling to the Caloundra Junior Development Series Tournament 25-26th February.

We will be taking a bus of players down, and limited spots are available, so book in now if you'd like to play!
Travel and accommodation costs are covered by the Hervey Bay & District Tennis Assoc., and thanks to our fundraising efforts!!
